Gefco has won a European distribution contract from UK kitchen equipment manufacturer Rangemaster, as it seeks to penetrate new markets.
Gefco has begun distributing Rangemaster products in France, and has just started trials to Germany.
Averaging between 150 and 200 consignments a week, the operation sees Gefco collecting cargo from Rangemaster’s distribution centre in Leamington Spa and transporting them to its French hubs of Valenciennes, Gennevilliers, Mulhouse and Toulouse.Rangemaster also employs its own vehicles to deliver to Gefco facilities in Gennevilliers and Lyon, while for Germany, Gefco is collecting once a week from Leamington Spa and delivering to its German hub of Wuppertal."
