Marks & Spencer (M&S) has signed an agreement with commercial property developer ProLogis to lease 35,500sq metres of distribution space at the ProLogis Park Stoke.
The deal represents a deepening of the two companies’ business relationship, with M&S due to take occupancy of a 93,000sq metre distribution facility in late 2010, which ProLogis is in the process of constructing at Bradford.Jason Keegan, head of general merchandise logistics at Marks & Spencer, said: “Our relocation to a new site in Stoke-on-Trent will give us even greater flexibility and efficiency in our supply chain operations."
