Van Huet takes over Interliner - International Freighting Weekly

Van Huet takes over Interliner - International Freighting Weekly: "Glass transport specialist Van Huët Glass Logistics has taken over Austrian competitor Interliner, following the latter’s descent into bankruptcy.

The deal takes Van Huët’s fleet up to 300 glass-carrying inloaders, and makes it Europe’s second-largest glass logistics operator.

MD Bert Strikkers said: “The glass industry has been going through a process of consolidation in recent years. This trend is also being followed in the transport industry. The consequences of the economic crisis only accelerate this process.”"
